A former educator turned businessman, Delegate
Noah Secharraimul twice made a bid for that seat against former
Delegate of Airai, Hideo S. Tell without success. However, giving
up was not part of his agenda and he managed to garner enough votes
on the third try resulting in his seat at the House of Delegates
of the Sixth Olbiil Era Kelulau.
Delegate Secharraimuls educational background begins at Airai Elementary
School where he completed his grade school years, and continuing
on to the Palau High School to complete his secondary education.
After high school, he enrolled in and went on to attend the Community
College of Micronesia (CCM) in Pohnpei.
Following his graduation at CCM, Delegate Secharraimul returned
to Palau to begin a teaching career that spanned twenty-two years
at the Airai Elementary School. While teaching, he took additional
courses from the San Jose State University through USIU.
Prior to being elected and up to present, he operates a private
enterprise including a retail store, construction company and apartment
complexes. My first agenda upon taking office, says Delegate Secharraimul,
is to join forces with Koror Delegate Toribiong in combatting the
importation and sale of illegal drugs in Palau. Delegate Secharraimul
currently chairs the Committee on Social, Cultural and Youth Affairs.
